Zafran's Milestone

His language Development is very rapid.. At this age, Zafran can:

• points to things or pictures when they are named
• knows names of familiar people and body parts (nose, eyes, ears, hand, rambut;hair, hand, leg, perut (stomach)
• says sentences with 2 to 4 words 
• follows simple instructions
• repeats words he heard 
• points to things in a book

Physical Development:

• can stack 3 and more blocks
• scribbling.. circle and stroke line
• jump with both feet on air for 1 second
• jump with 1 feet with support (hand hold to something)

• hold pencil between finger
• master in furniture climbing ( laju jer, ayah and ibu yg takut tgk)

Cognitive development:

• Finds things hidden
• Begins to sort shapes and colors
• Might use one hand more than the other
• Follows two-step instructions such as “Pick up your shoes and put them in the closet.”
• Names items in a picture book such as a cat, bird, or dog

Social and emotional development: 

•  Copies what other people do
• Gets excited when with other children... pandai tegur other children
• More independent.. nak mkn sendiri, tumpah habis laa
• Starts to shows defiant behavior (doing what he has been told not to).. bila ibu ayah ckp jangan buat, dia buat tak tahu je.. dia buat jugak.. grrrrrr
• beginning to include other children when playing, such as in chase games
• starts to show feel of shame

Zafran is 2 years!

Holla.....

Last week was Zafran 2nd birthday.. Initially, ibu did not plan for any celebration.. but ibu decided to bake a cake for him.. it was a last minute change. Sebab ibu kesian kat him.. Even he still small, don't understand the meaning of birthday, but he has the right to be appreciated, happy and fun on birthday. It was devil choc cake.. Recipe was taken from ana suzana's blog.. Looking at the pic, it looks soo mouth watering.. however once ibu done with the cake, it is not so tasty.. choc indulgence is  more delicious. So, it is not among ibu's top choice of baking.

When it was about the time to serve the cake, ayah's sister came to our house. So, with 2 candles which ibu has kept for years.. balance masa beli cake long long time ago.. hehehe.. ibu light up the candle, sang happy birthday son to Zafran.. we clapped.. This is when the most funniest moment.. Zafran malu ok! After we clapped, we told him to blow candles, he shamed.. He tried to masuk bawah kerusi ok! Hahahah...  ayah hold him, asked him to blow the candles..  Then, makan la kan... Ibu tak amik gambar pun.. segan kott sbb my sis in law was there, mcm over acting je pulak kalau ibu amik gambar.

Happy birthday sayang ibu... Ibu sayang Zafran.. love u so much..

When Zafran is 1 year...

He can walk
He has 6 teeths
Her understand what ibu and ayah says to him and simple instruction

He likes to laugh when playing
He can play alone
He likes people give attention to him
He urges us to play ba ba chak with him..
He likes to kiss people
He know how to scratch when he feels itchy
He can say na' when he want something, especially food
He know he needs to lie down when he want to drink from his bottle
He points his forefinger to an object to communicate 
He understand, sometime he cries, when ibu scolds him for being naughty and stubborn
He smiles, he gets excited, he greets, when he sees ibu or ayah come home

whatever sayang... ibu (and ayah too, for sure) love you so much... we pray that GOD will protects you from any harm, danger, illness... and you will be a good son, a good human, and a good servant of Him.. Insha-Allah...

Happy Belated First Birthday Zafran..

Teething

Couple of days ago, little darling ibu had fever. The most weird thing about him each time he is in fever, the fever appears during evening and night only. He begin to increase his body temp when it is dusk .His body will get too hot, reaching 39++ °C  around 2 until 6 a.m. However, he recovers when it is morning around 10 to 11 a.m.  

Ibu search info about this demam malam only. What ibu found is this is happened due to the nature of virus that is active at night. Kesian sangat kat little darling mucuk ibu each time he had fever. He cries and clings a lot and awake from sleep several time. He gets up in the morning lack of sleep and inactive as usual.

Yesterday night, ibu asked him.."Kenapa Zafran demam ni? Demam nak boleh jalan ke?" He gazed  to me. A depth look inside my eyes. Suddenly baru la ibu terpikir.... to check his teeth. Alhamdulillah, the second teeth is peeking out. So, Zafran had answered ibu's question. Celebrating his 10 months-old with the coming of his second teeth.

First Teeth

Huh, patut la si bam bam ibu ni demam last week, siap kena bawak hospital lagi. Ibu la very worried. Flu + fever + cough. Rupanya, his first teeth is peeking out.

Ni gambar his first teeth that is obviously can be seen each time he open his mouth.

Zafran 8 months

Little darling mucuk ibu dah masuk 8 bulan. Some progresses are:

Motor Development:
1. Standing with support - hold to something such as bookshelves, sofa and even other people's body. (Siap buat aksi stunt lepas tangan lagi..huhuhuhu)
2. Climbing ibu's or ayah's body, laptop box, etc. Whatever things he can climb on, he will!
3. Passing things from one hand to the other hand.
4. Grasping small things on floor.. even a moving ant.
5. Sitting skill is much more better. Can sit alone without support for several seconds.

Language Development:
1. New vocab - tete, nana and baba


Cognitive Development:
1. Able to differentiate between ibu and ayah. Ex: will look for ibu when he wants to sleep, however will go to ayah when wants to play.
2. Knows where ibu or ayah were hiding when we played hide and seek. Also, when ibu is in kitchen or toilet, immediately he will come to search ibu in that place.
3. Better memory - can get on track when he is playing even after being distracted.
4. Shows understanding through facial expression or crying loudly when being scolded by ibu.

Turun! Turun!

Zafran.... turun! Turun, turun..!  

Hah.. macam tu la ibu cakap setiap kali si mucuk ni panjat memanjat. Huh... little darling mucuk ibu sekarang ni tak ada kerja lain.. sejak dah pandai berdiri sendiri ni... kerja utamanya adalah panjat, panjat, panjat... so dapat la berdiri sendiri. Bila berjaya memanjat atau berdiri tu, punya lah suka, gelak2 lagi.

Paling ibu risau, buat stunt! Berdiri lepas tangan. Berkali dah jatuh ke belakang. Berdetum bunyi.. ish... takutnya ibu. Especially time ibu kat toilet ke, solat ke... Cepat2 ibu angkat, peluk, usap kepala yang terhantuk tadi. Budak kecik ni badan sangat fragile. Bila dah terjatuh atau terhantuk kepala tu, mudah berlaku gegaran pada otak. Ibu pernah baca sebelum ni, bila bayi jatuh atau terhantuk, as long as dia tak muntah2, it's ok. Tapi, bila muntah jer lepas tu, kena cepat bawak gi hospital, kena buat MRI la.. scan kepala. Na'uzubillah... semoga little darling mucuk ibu ni dijauhkan dari malapetaka dan bahaya..

Apapun, layan je lah gambar budak kecik yang baru pandai memanjat-manjat ni..

Zafran Membebel

Little Darling ibu ni skrg mulut tak reti diam.. sejak dah mula pandai berkomunikasi babling stage ni.. membebel je la.. tp satu apa pun ibu tak paham. Ayah lagi la tak paham...Yg ibu dengar cuma "dadadadada....", "mamamama...", "dededededede....." kehkehkehkehkeh

His first Utterance

Now, little darling has entered the second phase of language development... the babling. Ibu notices that some kind of utterance emerges from his mouth.. It sounds like this..

"Emmm mam mam mam mam mam.." mamam? in some typical malay oldies, mamam refers tu makan..


Sometimes like this...


"ammaa ama ama ama ama.. amma ma ma ma" mama?? Oh, this is ibu.. ibu... not mama... (don't want to let him calling me mama, i am ibu.. totally different from mama.. mama sounds fierce to me, while ibu sounds gentle and malayish, that's what i am.. :)

First Steps of Crawl

Lately, little sweet darling ibu ni dah menunjukkan tanda2 nak merangkak. Beberapa hari sebelum tuh cuma pandai angkat dada je, tapi dah 2 hari ni dah mula angkat punggung dan kaki. Especially time merengek.

Ermm.. gigi tak tumbuh lagi even dah 6 bulan lebih, tapi merangkak dah ada signs. Nampak gayanya, berjalan dulu lah si bam bam ibu ni baru bercakap.

Alahai, tak lama lagi sweet darling ibu ni dah boleh merangkak, pastu bole jalan pulak. Seronok tengok awak membesar dengan normal dan sihat. Tapi, ibu will miss the moment masa little darling kecik, masa umur 1 2 bulan. Alahai, kecik je masa tuh, mata asyik tengok atas je, Pastu tido je... nak berdukung jer. Sekarang, menangis la kalau ibu dukung lama2, nak bebas dilepaskan, berguling sana sini.

Whatever pun, ibu tetap harapkan dan doakan yg terbaik utk masa depan zafran. Moga zafran dapat terus membesar dengan normal dan sihat mcm kanak2 lain.
