Tak larat nak cerita byk.. coz rite now ibu is in office and it is already 5 p.m.. restless and missing little Zafran so much while he is at his nursery.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Zafran 1st Birthday Cake

Last week, ibu ordered a cake from a woman who has a home-made cake business at Kota Kemuning. The cake is to be sent at Zafran's nursey. Looking at her blog, her touches were pretty. So, ibu pre-assumed that my order is going to be pretty as well. Don't want to mention her blog here.

Ibu ordered a prince theme with blue color theme. The prince signifies that Zafran is the prince in ibu's heart. U know how a prince look like, rite? But.. when the cake arrived...this is what i got....

See... the prince figure on the top of the cake doesn't look like a prince...  This is what ibu expected...

The real cake that ibu got... is just boleh laaaa .. Even it is not met my request as a prince, the boy on the top was still cute. It signifies Zafran on the cake.

She charged RM20 for delivery. Ibu think it is expensive. If from her house in Kota Kemuning to Subang, she charges RM10 (she stated that in her blog), so it should be around RM10-15 only from Kota Kemuning to our house because our house is nearer to Kota Kemuning compared to Subang.

So, basically, the cake was under my estimation. Ibu don't know about the taste, tak rasa pun.. everything was given to his nursey. Zafran pun tak rasa... becoz he was admitted to hospital on the evening they suppose to eat the cake.

Kuantan Trip

We were at Kuantan again.. the second trip to Kuantan for this year. When ayah need to go to Kuantan, the days are blooming.. hehehe.. i likkeeeeee.... this is the opportunity for us to jalan-jalan and makan-makan. 

This time we checked-in at Shahzan Inn, not Season View as usual. They had changed the management so ayah would like to give it a shot as the last time he was not really happy with it. Bau hapak ayah cakap. So, our feedback about the place will be plotted in the next entry.

We arrived Shahzan on Friday around 9 p.m. Ayah just tapau nasi goreng for him and kuey teow kungfu for ibu for dinner. After an express dinner in the room, he went to the bank and only returned on 2 a.m. That morning, we had out breakfast in the hotel. Ayah went to the bank after breakfast and came back when it's already 12.30 p.m. We checked out at 1 o'clock noon and changed to Season View. As we were staying in the hotel, ibu prepared Cerelac instant porridge for Zafran. Sorry sayang...where can ibu cook your porridge when staying in hotel for several days. Luckily, bilik yang we ol dapat kat Season view tu sangat best. It has a very large window, roomy for little Zafran to crawl, and a king size bed.

On the Saturday night, ayah brought us to pasar malam in the town. It was the first jalan2 at pasar malam for Zafran. Ibu had yong tau foo soup while ayah had bihun goreng with fried chicken. Ibu didn't snap any pic in the hotel's cafe and pasar malam.. malu lah ramai orang tengok.. macam jakun lah pulak kan...

The third day at Kuantan, ibu and ayah had roti canai at our favorite stall at Tanjung Lumpur. Then, we head to Teluk Cempedak to buy chic porridge and pancake for little darling Zafran. Kesian lah kat dia, semalam  tak makan nasi pun... huhuhuhu. After all, Zafran likes the chic porridge. He can finish one medium size McD chic porridge.

That noon, we had a nap in the hotel's room. At 6 o'clock in the evening, we wandering the ECM. Ibu want to have Kenny Rogers for dinner. Puas la pusing2 cari, only then we got to know the Kenny Rogers is in Megamall, not in ECM. So, ibu and Zafran waited ayah to perform maghrib prayer and went to Megamall.  Lepas perut sudah full, balik la bilik.

Fourth day in Kuantan, ibu and Zafran had breakfast in the hotel. Ibu had nasi lemak with salty sambal and a slice of bread for Zafran. Ayah was unable to join us. He had to be in the bank early. So, the two of us filled the day with watching tv and playing. Most of the time Zafran played alone laa. Ibu watched tv. hehehehe. Ayah returned to hotel after maghrib to fetch ibu and Zafran for dinner. Ibu asked Johnnys for dinner and ayah agreed. Once again we were in ECM where we were lost yesterday looking for Kennys which is located in Megamall.. hehehehehe But, this time we were in the correct place.

Our fifth day was started with breakfast in the hotel's cafe. Today, ibu and ayah had nasi goreng and a slice of bread for Zafran. While we were waiting ayah to returned and checked out, Zafran managed to get a nap. We checked-out at 12.30 noon and went to Secret Recipe at Indera Mahkota. Out first intention was to take away three slices of cake. However, being in the restaurant during lunch hour, was a right place at a right time. When we entered the premise, the seats were occupied by starving people, with the tempting food on the their tables, the sweet smell of cakes. We walked in slowly and saw a vacant seat s in front of us. Suddenly, these words bursted  from ibu's mouth. 

"Ayah, kita nak makan sini ke bungkus?" 

"Makan sini je lah" 

ayah answered and terus duduk... kehkehkehkehkeh. Mana niat nak bungkus kek je ayah?

Lastly, ni ha yang ibu order ..

When ibu cut the chicken into two.. aiitt.. wondering where is the cheese.. tak ada pun cheese melting from the inner side..

Unsatisfied, ibu double check, zoom sikit.. and had a bite.. Memang tak ada cheese la.. Yang putih bergulung kat tengah tu chicken salami. This is the second time ibu ate chic cordon bleu.. as far as i know, it suppose to have cheese inside. Ermm...

 sah! my chic cordon bleu was served without cheese inside, till my last bite, no cheese at all.

Tapi, ibu makan gak la sampai licin. Apa la SR ni.. how come the cook forgot to put cheese inside my chic cordon bleu. Chicken dia pun overcooked. .Pastu tapau kek lagi.

Lepas makan, we wanted to go back to our place. But ayah received an emergency call from Pekan branch. We reached home when it was almost 1 a.m.

First Night of 2011

The night of the new year 2011, we went for outing. Ayah ajak ibu makan kat luar. Since dia tak makan nasi lagi dari siang, peti ais sangat desperate of raw food, tetiba ayah cakap, " jom gi carrefour. Tau tak ada carrefour baru buka?" Ibu pun set je, boleh gak gi beli groceries and ais-krim. Lama dah tak makan aiskrim ni. Ngehngehngehngeh..

Sampai je carrefour, cari tempat makan dulu. Memula masuk, we saw kind a kopitiam.. coffee something nama dia. Penuh orang. We walked to the end and found a food court. It's a small size food-court with only 5 food counters. So, agak lengang. Ibu makan mee rebus and ayah nasi goreng thai. . Sedap jugak la mee rebus u. Yey.. boleh gi situ lagi. Kalau dah memang suka makan mee rebus tu... mau ibu jadi pelanggan setia kedai tu lepas ni.

Kat kedai 1 Malaysia tu la ibu beli mee rebus. Nama je 1 Malaysia, tp makanan yg dijual adalah makanan johor.  Mee rebus johor, laksa johor, etc..

Siap makan, jalan lagi.. This time masuk carrefour pulak.. Si bam bam ni dah tak reti diam dalam stroller masa ni. Ayah la setia melayan. Ibu nak cepat takut lambat2 kang tutup pulak.

Ibu pun cepat2 grab groceries yg ibu nak. Pay and get out.... Lagi lama dalam tu, lagi tak terlayan lah ayah...

So, This is our first night of the new year 2011 and our first night at Carrefour Shah Alam which is just opened recently.

P/s dapat gak la ibu makan aiskrim vianetta iadaman hati hasil malam itu..hehehehe

Bila Ayah Memasak

Hari ni ayah ada kat rumah. Ibu pun cakap la kat ayah. "malas la nak masak hari ni. Beli bungkus je boleh?" Tapi ayah jawab "masak simple je la, ikan bilis goreng bawang". Ibu cakap "malas jugak nak masak, beli je la ye kat kedai depan ni".

Sebenarnya ibu rasa nak makan kat luar. Lauk pauk kedai best, banyak pilihan.. suka la ibu. Macam2 lauk boleh amik, especially kalau ade patin tempoyak. Lauk tu sure ibu amik, coz ayah tak makan patin tempoyak. Tak tahan bau tempoyak. So cuma time makan kat kedai je ibu dapat makan lauk kesukaan ibu tu.

Tiba2 ayah gi dapur... kedengaran la bunyi periuk belanga mangkuk semua.. Ibu pulak kat depan, suap zafran makan lunch. Rupa2nya ayah memasak laa... wahhhh, surprise! Sejak enam tahun kawin, ni kali ke 2 ayah masak utk ibu... Walaupun ayah masak simple, tapi ibu suka sangat.. Bukan senang ayah nak masak tau! Really apreciate it.. Thank you so much suami...
