Zafran 1st Birthday Cake

Last week, ibu ordered a cake from a woman who has a home-made cake business at Kota Kemuning. The cake is to be sent at Zafran's nursey. Looking at her blog, her touches were pretty. So, ibu pre-assumed that my order is going to be pretty as well. Don't want to mention her blog here.

Ibu ordered a prince theme with blue color theme. The prince signifies that Zafran is the prince in ibu's heart. U know how a prince look like, rite? But.. when the cake arrived...this is what i got....

See... the prince figure on the top of the cake doesn't look like a prince...  This is what ibu expected...

The real cake that ibu got... is just boleh laaaa .. Even it is not met my request as a prince, the boy on the top was still cute. It signifies Zafran on the cake.

She charged RM20 for delivery. Ibu think it is expensive. If from her house in Kota Kemuning to Subang, she charges RM10 (she stated that in her blog), so it should be around RM10-15 only from Kota Kemuning to our house because our house is nearer to Kota Kemuning compared to Subang.

So, basically, the cake was under my estimation. Ibu don't know about the taste, tak rasa pun.. everything was given to his nursey. Zafran pun tak rasa... becoz he was admitted to hospital on the evening they suppose to eat the cake.

Exersaucer Time!

Taraaaaaaa.... as a sequel of this post.. ibu would like to share the news that ibu has bought a replacement of baby walker for little darling mucuk.. It is known as exersaucer. Some brands named it as activity centre. It does not has any wheel that makes it unmoving thing. Thus, it is safer than walker.

Ayah granted the whole decision on ibu to select the stuff for little darling as to ensure he cannot climb and makes stunt while ibu is busy with house chores. After considering walker, playpen, bumbo seat and exersaucer, ibu bought this new baby gear for him due to its portability, light weight, function, safety,and value for money.

First trial in exersaucer, everything looks yummy for him.

Baby Walker is Dangerous?

Ibu was considering a baby walker for little darling mucuk. Dah asyik panjat je.. What makes ibu worry is his safetiness. He fell off several times. While ibu surveyed on the net about baby walker, ibu found several articles and discussions saying that walker is really really dangerous for baby. Why? Reasons?

1. Walker doesn't make baby walk earlier and in fact, using one too much may delay her development slightly.
2. More accidents and injuries happen in baby walkers than with any other form of baby equipment. This is because they give babies extra speed, extra height and access to multiple hazards.
3. Increased risk for burns, poisonings, and drownings. This is because the child can move faster and reach dangerous objects.

Hence, Canada has banned the sale of baby walkers. America is considering to ban it.

Ibu agree with all the above statements because ibu had an experienced seeing with naked eyes a baby fell on stairs from his walker due to he was too fast. Thus, he cannot see the stair because of the walker's toys hindered him from seeing down. 

So, since walker is dangerous, the solution to replace it, is.... jeng, jeng,jeng.... will be update in the next post... hehehehe...

His Car Seat

Sekarang little darling ibu ni dah tak reti duk diam dalam kereta. Kalo dok belakang dgn ibu, asyik nak berguling jer, kalo duk depan pulak dgn ibu, asyik nak capai semua benda termasuk la butang baju ayah dan tangan ayah yg tengah drive.Ibu dah tak berani nak drive letak zafran kat passenger seat sebelah. Bahaya ibu nak drive sambil nak diamkan zafran tak nak bagi guling dalam kereta.


So, selepas 2 hari ibu survey car seat yg sesuai... akhirnya.... inilah hasil nya...

Ibu beli kat tiabarney1.blogspot.com. Sehari je ibu order, dah sampai, Beli yg second hand jer, coz byk lagi barang nak beli. Ni ibu nak cari safety gate atau play yard pulak. Lagipun car seat ni tak guna lama. Sampai baby dah 18 kg je. 

Bila car seat tu sampai je, ibu try letak si bam bam tu. Ok je, tak nangis pun or tak meronta nak keluar. Fuhh.. lega ibu..

Sekarang nak train si bam bam ni duk dalam seat ni pulak masa dalam kereta. Biasanya kalo ayah drive ibu riba je. Now, tak de riba2 lagi okeh...

Books for HIM

Last week ibu beli buku untuk zafran... ada 6 buku semuanya.. total RM116 + shipping. Dapat 2 cd free. Baru2 ni buku tu dah sampai. Wah.... seronoknya ibu... bolehlah ibu bacakan buku untuk my sweet darling ni. After all. he is 6 months old, it's time to introduce reading to him.

Ibu pilih buku yg sesuai la untuk 6 bulan ke 2 tahun. Setiap satu buku tu ada function yg berbeza. Noisy Day tu ade bunyi binatang, Creepy Crawlies ada lubang kat setiap page, I Love Bunnies pulak tulisan yg besar dan gambar yg sangat jelas, Baby at the Farm provides different touch sense, Peekapop Garden tu ada pop pictures kat setiap pages, Silly Sea tu cloth book yg ada wrist cuff.

So, zafran kena la khatamkan buku2 tu yer sayang baru boleh beli buku cerita lain okeh...
